๐ŸŒ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ’ Banana Split for a Healthy Breakfast!

So this could be your breakfast.

Yeah. ^ That. And it’s healthy. Healthy enough for breakfast and also indulgent enough as an after-school treat.

Even better, this recipe can’t get any simpler.

I just split a banana in half, take three scoops of my homemade froyo (recipe here!), and drizzle each with a peanut magic shell, chocolate magic shell, and raspberry chia sauce.

To top the froyo,ย I use two healthy magic shell recipes. For those who aren’t familiar with magic shell, it basically is a sauce thatย hardens like “magic” (Ha) when you pour it onto ice cream or frozen treats. The only thing is, the magic shell stuff that comes from a bottle isn’t so healthy.

But good news:ย I have a super healthy way to recreate the magic shell, and it onlyย requires a few simple ingredients. The most important ingredient being: coconut oil.ย Just google Coconut Oil and you’ll find a list of benefits. I swear after I’ve incorporated coconut oil into my diet like 5 years ago, my skin and hair improved so much. Anyways, coconut oilย turns solid inย cold temperatures, and it’s our “magic ingredient” here!

For the peanut magic shell:
1 tbsp unsweetened peanut flour + 2 tspย coconut oil + pinch salt

For the chocolate magic shell:
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder + 2 tsp coconut oil + stevia + pinch salt

For the raspberry chia sauce… well, that’s for another post! I’ll get to this recipe, if y’all are interested. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Then, I top the peanut shell’ed froyo with chopped toasted almonds.

The chocolate shell’ed one with cacao nibs, and the raspberry chia one with pink beet-dyed coconut flakes.
